Thoughts: This makes me sad

I am very saddened to hear that Al-Zarqawi lived for 52 minutes after the bombing.
Abu Musab al-Zarqawi lived for 52 minutes after a U.S. warplane bombed his hideout northeast of Baghdad, and he died of extensive internal injuries consistent with those caused by a bomb blast, the U.S. military said Monday.

Col. Steve Jones, command surgeon for Multinational Forces, said an autopsy concluded that al-Zarqawi died from serious injuries to his lungs. An FBI test positively identified al-Zarqawi's remains.

Maj. Gen. William Caldwell, a spokesman for the U.S. military in Baghdad, said U.S. forces arrived about 28 minutes after a fighter jet bombed al-Zarqawi's hideout outside Baqouba on Wednesday. Medics secured al-Zarqawi's airway but his breathing was shallow and labored, and he expelled blood from his mouth.

"It was very evident he had extremely massive internal injuries," Caldwell said

I only wish we had more time to tourture the fucker.

Now the liberals are saying this isn't a big deal that we killed Al-Zarqawi. Not a big deal? He was only the leader of the Iraq insurance, how is that not a big deal? You think if the terrorist killed GW Bush it wouldn't be a big deal? It is a huge deal and should be treated as such.

If getting one person is not a big deal, than why have the liberals been obsessing over Bin Ladin? They keep on saying we are loosing the War on Terrorism because we haven't killed or capture him. Isn't he only 1 person? Won't just 10 more Bin Ladins pop up if we kill him?

Liberals are just hypocrites. Anything to score a political point.

We do however have our
next target to hunt down.
Al Qaeda in Iraq named a successor following the killing of the group's leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, according to an Internet statement on Monday.

"The shura council of al Qaeda in Iraq unanimously agreed on Sheikh Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, to be a successor to Sheikh Abu Musab al-Zarqawi," said a statement signed by al Qaeda and posted on a Web site frequently used by Islamist militants.

"Sheikh Abu Hamza al-Muhajir is a good brother, has a history in jihad and is knowledgeable. We ask God that he ... continue what Sheikh Abu Musab began," it said.

Hopefully it isn't long till we bomb the hell out of him and make him dead.
